How our robotic cleaner works ?

*
In the present article, we picture an outline of the application of our innovative solution, which is a robotic cleaner, in a few simple words.
Companies must consider what the market wants and what customers demand to drive adoption, so this innovation is formed based on a real need with a high request for cleaning exterior windows and surfaces of high-rise buildings, in a modern way.
Our innovative solution is a cable-driven robot in which its movement is done by cables and rotating actuators under a controlling algorithm. The accurate position and speed of the cleaner end-effector are manipulated by the main controller and actuators at the corners of the building facade.
A few minutes after installation, the robot gathers the 3D information on the whole facade of the construction including the exact position of the windows, bulges, and indents by a 3D scanner. The 3D information is utilized to optimal control the position, speed, and depth of the end-effector during the cleaning process.
CDRoboWipe is optimized to access the exterior windows and façades of high-rise buildings which in comparison to other solutions is safe, flexible, affordable, fast, precise, low cost, low energy consumption, easy to install, and maintenance.
In way of obviating our client’s concerns, the following steps have been done by our team:
- Cable-driven robot structure design
- Static, dynamic, and kinematic calculation for the robot movement
- Position and speed simulation of the robot movement
- Control algorithm development
- PLC modular program development
- Survey on cable and rotating actuator types for our specified robot
Our lovely robo-cleaner(!) is suitable for all buildings with more than four-story such as residential & office buildings, hotels or multiple purposes complexes, and main municipalities buildings whose exterior windows and facades need to be cleaned several times annually.
