Our group was formed based on a real need with a high request for cleaning exterior windows and
facades of the high-rise buildings. Our applied researches have led to a robotic solution that is
optimized for the application of cleaning windows and facades of the constructions. In the way of
realizing our goals, the following steps have been done by our team:
- Cable driven robot structure design
- Static, dynamic and kinematic calculation for the robot movement
- Position and speed simulation of the robot movement
- Control algorithm development
- PLC modular program development
- Survey on cable and rotating actuator types for our specified robot
